Two Separate Living Spaces in One Amazing Package!
Whether you need a home with enough space to house a multi-generational living arrangement, you want to rent our the upper or lower unit in this home, or you need four bedrooms for a larger family, this home in beautiful Baden gives you all of those options.
The lower level unit in this home is fully separate and has a private entrance, a kitchen, a separate laundry unit, and much more!
A Bright, Spacious, and Updated Living Area!
When first entering the home, you'll be welcomed by beautiful hardwood floors that run all the way throughout. You will also notice the newer large windows that let in tons of natural light, and the open concept living area that makes this space feel huge.
Walking through the eat-in kitchen, you will find a kitchen with tons of countertop and cabinet space, a wrap-around countertop, a large window that allows tons of light to flow into the kitchen, and a nice view over the park with no rear neighbours. The kitchen cabinets were also recently updated, and show off some high quality craftmanship.
Three Upstairs Bedrooms!
We love homes that have three bedrooms upstairs because they offer so much flexibility for families!
The upper level of this home has three full sized, carpeted bedrooms and one full bathroom. One of the themes that you'll notice in these bedrooms that continues throughout the home is the upgraded hardware and lighting fixtures, like the door handles and lighting fixtures. There are also laundry facilities in the closet of one of the bedrooms, which is a major feature allowing the separate living spaces to work - one laundry facility upstairs, and one downstairs!
Share it or Use it Yourself- Your Choice!
As previously mentioned, the lower level one bedroom, one bathroom unit is completely separate from the upstairs unit - separated inside by a door, and offering private entrances, separate laundry facilities, and a private living area.
The lower level unit has newer windows as well, and they make the space nice and bright. We find that the lower level living area feels cozy, and not like you're in a basement at all.
There's also a wood burning fireplace that is used regularly, and a door off of the living area that leads into a huge storage closet. That closet wraps around and behind the living area, meaning that there is an absolute ton of storage downstairs for even the most demanding needs.
Right off the family room you'll find a full bathroom and a recently added kitchen. This space was really well designed to maximize the usage of the space, and the result is a functional kitchen with a surprising amount of countertop and storage space.
The washer/dryer unit on the lower level is found in the kitchen, and there's also a small eat-in kitchen at the end of the countertop space. The kitchen leads to the full bedroom, which is good sized, has double closets, and big, bright windows as well.
Fully Fenced Backyard with No Rear Neighbours!
At the back of this home is where you'll find the private entrance to the basement, and a fully fenced backyard (perfect for pet owners)!
The back patio is a great place to set up some outdoor furniture, entertain friends and family, and relax outside in peace and quiet during the summer months. The fully fenced backyard is not only private and quiet with no rear neighbours, but this would be a great space to build out a solarium or sunroom addition, if you choose.
Great Views, Better Privacy, and the Best Neighbourhood!
We love the views that this home has to offer, and of course the privacy that comes along with living in this part of Baden. This area is very family friendly (there's a park next door, after all!), and the current homeowners have even mentioned to us how much they love their neighbours.
A couple of things we can guarantee when moving here: peace, quiet, and a truly friendly community!
This home has a ton of updates, including many of the vital functions of this home.
That means recent upgrades to the furnace and AC, the water softener, and an on-demand water heater system. You'll find all of these vital home functions tucked away inside a closet in the basement for easy access, when needed.
Beautiful Baden!
Baden is a hidden gem, suburban community located within Wilmot Township and Waterloo Region. Wilmot township is ranked #20 in Macleans Magazine for "Best Communities to Live in Canada".
Picture this:
Living just 10 minutes to Costco and the Ira Needles Boardwalk in Kitchener-Waterloo while experiencing small town country living all at the same time. It really is the perfect balance of tranquility and access to amenities.
The sunsets through the country fields are spectacular, the neighbours are friendly, the schools are incredible and the quality of life is incomparable!

Baden offers so many food options all within a short walk from your doorstep. Baden is so lucky to have Baden Coffee Company, Melina's Grill, EJ's Tavern, Tim Hortons and Subway! The variety is fantastic and will allow a quick bite to eat while leaving town, a morning walk for a coffee, or a sit down family meal! All highly recommended!

A Castle???
The historic Castle Kilbride also call Baden home. The former residence of a Canadian Member of Parliament and owner of flax and linseed oil mills, the castle was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in march of 1994. Built in Baden in 1877 and named after James Livingston's birthplace in Scotland, what a fascinating town full of history.
